Redwoods Collective is a free intelligence service and resource library designed to help philanthropic advisors and their clients move funding to climate solutions with confidence. We are focused on helping philanthropic professionals (like you) unlock giving from centimillionaire donors to fuel the solutions that will avert climate disaster and build a lasting legacy for future generations. We feature fundable opportunities that are right sized for checks of $100k-$1M+.

Redwoods is a pilot that launched in June of last year in partnership with Climate Lead, Project Drawdown, ClimateWorks, and other climate leaders with the goal of lifting up the highest-impact fundable opportunities that can move the needle on climate change. Our featured solutions are vetted by leading philanthropies, backed by world class science, and presented in ways that a non-specialist audience can easily understand and fund with confidence. We have packaged up the diligence and learning materials Climate Lead and others have found to be highly effective with donors, and are making them available to a wider audience on our members’-only platform - including you!

If selected to join our pilot cohort, you'll get access to:

  • Members Only Platform: Featuring fundable opportunities backed with written diligence and intelligence from Climate Lead and other trusted partners

  • Ways to Learn: 2x monthly Climate Briefs and Trainings with experts on climate topics

  • Direct line of support: We curate a package of opportunities that meet your clients’ interests and help you frame the pitch

This is a great fit for you if you have donor clients that are:

  • Considering gifts of $100k-$1M per organization

  • Relatively new to climate

  • Interested in ramping up their climate giving, and/or

  • Open to learning new things and considering new approaches

Who this isn’t for:

  • Regrantors/Ecosystem Players: At this time, we only work with philanthropic advisors or other professionals working directly with donors/foundations

  • Hyper-local or hyper-specific donors: Our fundable opportunities are the highest impact organizations doing national and global level work. If your client has a very local focus or extremely niche interests, we won’t have much for you.

As a Redwoods member receiving our services at no charge, you agree to:

  • Tell us if you fund any opportunities we put in front of you and at what level of funding.
